Our beloved nation is in real trouble

God, bless America again
as losers with an aim to win
shoot down the law with brazen gall.
It smacks of anarchy.

God, bless America anew.
We’re acting like the heathen do
without regard for what God says
insisting we know best.

The wolf is knocking at the door
aware that we have lost the means
to stand up for what’s right.

God, bless America we pray
for black and white have morphed to gray
and values that we long embraced
are slipping through our hands.
